FAQs

How do I register my School for ALTMUN?

You can register through MUN Manager https://modelun.co/. Our registration opens August 24th. Our first come first serve country selection process is known as “Delegation Requests” which are scheduled to open Sep. 14th at 6 pm est.

Will the conference be in-person this year?

YES! ALTMUN will be hosted in-person at Chattanooga State Community College.

What is the size of the conference?

This year we are offering seven committees. Due to the various room sizes each committee will have a delegate cap. We estimate our maximum delegate capacity to be around 300.

How much does the conference cost?

This year our only fee is for delegations (countries), there will be no individual delegate fees. The Delegation Fee is $65 each. We are starting out small and want to be accessible to our surrounding communities. Long term we do plan to institute a delegate fee. Will there be on-site meal options?

We are working on having food options on campus so that no one has to leave ChattState during meal breaks. These options might include the college cafeteria, outside catering or delivery.

Will there be on-site housing for out of town schools?

Unfortunately no, there is no on-site housing. There are a many hotel options in Chattanooga, our recommendations are below:
